The New York Comedy Festival Expands to 10 Days

The New York Comedy Festival isn’t just expanding, it’s practically exploding. Pivoting from its standard one-week stint, the laugh-fest is inflating to a ten-day comedic marathon, sprawling from Friday, November 3 to Sunday, November 12. Let’s just say, New York’s funny bone is about to get a major tickling.

This year’s line-up reads famous comedians including Dave Attell, Bill Burr, Margaret Cho, Ilana Glazer, and the formidable Michelle Wolf are on the bill to light up the city with their quick-witted repartee.

Caroline Hirsch, the festival’s founder and owner, expressed her enthusiasm: “We’re beyond thrilled to bring the comedy world’s finest – from raw talents in the making to the polished jesters we all revere – from across our nation and beyond to this year’s festival. Just picture it – a melting pot of comedy, stirred to perfection with our hand-picked line-up, which we can’t wait to expand further in the coming months.”

The ticket floodgates are set to open for Bread Cashback American Express cardmembers as early as Wednesday, July 12. Those not lucky enough to carry the Bread can join the jocular jamboree on Friday, July 14. Be advised, presales are likely to spring up on a show-by-show basis, so keep an eye peeled on individual ticket sales pages.

As if the thought of a ten-day comedic binge wasn’t already exciting, the festival’s opening night sees heavyweights Daniel Sloss and Jeff Ross both taking the stage, albeit in separate venues. And the comedic riches don’t stop there, with Michelle Wolf set to bring the house down at Town Hall, Jimmy Carr and Anthony Jeselnik primed to stun at Carnegie Hall, Nicole Byer promising chuckles at the Apollo Theatre and Bill Burr ready to take on Madison Square Garden.

As the festival is still in its beginning stages, more acts are expected to join the comedic cavalcade. So, drinks up. comedy fans! New York Comedy Festival 2023 is about to take you on a roller-coaster of roaring laughter.
